The cross badge next to a profile means we've verified that person is a pastor or ministerial leader. It's not a doctrinal endorsement — it's just confirmation of role.
How to get verified
From Edit Profile, click "Request pastor verification." You'll be asked for:
- Your church or ministry name
- A link to your church's official site or denominational listing
- Optionally, an email from the official church domain confirming your role
An admin reviews the submission. We err on the side of asking for more evidence rather than wrongly granting the badge — it's a trust signal and we want to protect it.
Why it matters
On a Christian platform, people will naturally weight the words of a pastor more heavily. The badge helps users know when that weight is earned.
