Account deletion is permanent. There is no recovery period. We mention this because some platforms make this destructive and then bury the consequences.
What happens
- Your profile becomes inaccessible (no 404 page; just no record)
- All your public posts, prayers, comments, and reflections are deleted
- All your private prayers, notes, and highlights are deleted
- Your follows and the people following you are removed
- You are removed from all channels you joined
- Your username becomes available for someone else after 30 days
What stays
Admin moderation logs may retain anonymized notes ("user X was warned for Y") for audit purposes — but no identifying information remains.
If you just want a break
Account deletion is one of the most destructive things you can do. If you're in a hard season and want to step away, consider just signing out for a few weeks. Your account will wait.
