Tap a verse to open the verse menu. You'll see two options alongside Highlight:
Notes
A note is your written reflection on a verse — a thought, a question, a connection to your life. Notes are private by default. You can write as much as you want; there's no character limit. Notes appear on the verse wherever you encounter it.
Favorites
A favorite is a bookmark — a lightweight "I want to come back to this" marker. Unlike highlights and notes, favorites have no metadata. They just show up in the Favorites tab on your profile in the order you saved them.
Public reflections
Distinct from notes: when you tap a verse you can also write a public reflection that other users can read and upvote. The most-upvoted reflections of the week appear on the home page. Use reflections when you have a thought worth sharing; use notes when it's just for you.
